Mandy is a London-based artist, researcher and writer with a practice at the intersection of interdisciplinary art making, consultancy and deep listening. In 2022 she was the Brooks International Fellow in the Research and Interpretation department at Tate and a resident at Delfina Foundation. Using ethnography, poetry and artistic intervention, her research inspects arts labour and the institutional conditions that confront and shape anti-racist thinking and activities within culture organisations. Previously, Mandy was the founding curator of the Barjeel Art Foundation between 2009 and 2018. She holds an masters in History, Theory and Criticism of Architecture and Art (Aga Khan Program) from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and Cultural Translation from American University of Paris.
